Pineapples & Polka Dots' 5 Most Popular Posts of 2015

Hi, friends!

I wanted to take a minute to look back on all of the posts from the blog's first year.  I have enjoyed seeing other bloggers share their top 5 or 10, too, so I thought I'd share, too! (See that? I'm practicing my preschool skills even on vacation ;) )

So, here goes!

5. Slice It Up: How to Cut a Fresh Pineapple.  We love fresh pineapple in our house (surprised?), and so I shared a step by step about how I tackle prepping one.  I got a lot of great feedback from people in all sorts of places such as Facebook and work, that they finally felt like they could try to do this themselves. We often cut up a pineapple each weekend, and I promise, if you're intimidated, you can do it!

4. Balsamic and Tomato White Pizza.  Yum! This was one of our favorite homemade pizzas this year, and the recipe was a popular one with you, too! It's a simple and quick pizza that works well with your favorite store-bought or homemade crust.

3. Planting Annuals in Mason Jars: We made these gifts for the wonderful people who we work with as Thank You gifts this spring.  They were so cute, and a good option when you want to give several gifts all at once (between the two of us, I think we made about 18).  Some people transplanted the flowers into their gardens or a bigger container, and some people left them as is. Either way, they were a fun DIY gift to give!

2. This one surprised me a bit- What a Wonderful Wednesday! : Mini Road Trip to North Conway, NH.  Last winter break, we took a day trip to one of our favorite northern NH spots, and I shared all about it here.

1. (Well, really, tied for #1) Our Things We're Loving Lately posts: here and here.  I was so surprised how popular these posts were! I guess we'll have to create another one!

So, there you have it. I was surprised when I went to look at my top posts, and I know other bloggers have sometimes been, also. I guess you never know!

Thanks for reading, and have a great New Year's Eve!

PS:In case you missed it: I posted about our Christmas and the blog's 1 year birthday here
